Together with the Youth Cheer and Dance Alliance (YCADA), Pop Warner provides educational courses for its coaches, trainers and judges for Show Cheer (levels 1-4), Sideline Performance Cheer, and Dance (pom, hip hop, theme).

For the safety and security of our athletes, Howell Pop Warner requires our coaches to

complete the following prior to the start of each season:

• Annual background check

• DNA Fingerprinting every 3 years

• Annual YCADA Certification

• Annual NFHS Concussion Course

• Acknowledgement of Pop Warner Code of Conduct

• CPR Certification (minimum of one coach per team)

• Completion of Team Emergency Action Plan​​​​
