Celebrating over 50 years of youth Football and Cheer, Howell Pop Warner is one of the oldest organizations in the Jersey Shore.

ABOUT POP WARNER FOOTBALL
Howell Pop Warner Youth Football offers a fun, safe environment where everyone participates! Our teams are divided up into specific age categories to insure safe and competitive play. For more information fill out the Contact Us form on our home page.

Pop Warner football has been around since the inception of the league in 1929 by founder Joseph J. Tomlin as a four-team conference in Northeast Philadelphia.
​
Since then, participation has steadily increased to today's record numbers. Over 250,000 youths participated in Pop Warner-sanctioned football programs in 2020, and those numbers are continuing to grow.
Age Matrix

Players now are registered based on their age. Currently, an estimated 75-80% of youth football nationally follows an age-only structure.
